We had a few appointments this week. Evan was off to the ENT doctor for a follow up visit. It has been so long since Evan was noisy that Andrew and I have kind of forgotten what he sounded like. The ENT office was overrun with toddlers. I'm happy Evan is still confined to his carseat or our arms when we're out in public. I'm not up for chasing him around the room; stopping him from pulling fire extinguishers off the wall. (True story, a little 2-3 year old girl pulled the extinguisher off the wall. The thing was almost as tall as she was!) The ENT doctor would like to scope Evan when he goes in for his circumcision to make sure there isn't any scar tissue building up.
Evan also had an appointment at the hospital's developmental clinic. This appointment was set when he was released from the NICU. They'll follow his development every 6 months. While it was good to have another set of professionals evaluate Evan, I'm more interested in what his PT and OT have to say on his development. They see him every week versus the half our appointment. Evan did manage to spit up ALL OVER ME - TWICE!!! He's never spit up on me before. Go figure the first was at an appointment.
Seriously? We're outside Momma, I don't need all these toys! |
I love bathtime! |
Haha. Bathe me Momma. I'll sit here and look cute. |
Momma! I'm busy here. Stop taking selfies! |
Planning my next move. |
Wegmans again!? But weren't we just here last week? |
So other baby, do you see my awesome hand? Oh! You have one too! |
Uh, I think whatever you're cooking is burning while you're taking pictures. |
Grampa! We're going to get in trouble for not closing the spice cupboard before taking a picture. |
I like your red beard Uncle Keith! |
I love seeing Daddy in the middle of the day; even if it is at a doctor's appointment. |
Milk coma. Happy baby. |
Actual: Thirty two weeks (April 14th - April 20th)
Corrected: Nineteen weeks

Uncle Owey just bought a house so we stopped in for a visit. Evan was super excited and was very loud during our visit. His voice echoed so I think that's what kept him shrieking like a dolphin. I can just picture Evan running around Owen's yard when he's a little older.
Evan also celebrated Easter with his first trip to his Great Grandparent's house. He was a good little boy. He's not quite old enough to look for eggs though - maybe next year Great Gramma!
Evan continues to get stronger during tummy time. He has much better head control. He can hold his head up while on his tummy without crashing it into the floor. Evan really likes to look at himself in the mirror. I caught him talking to himself the other day. What a goober.
All dressed up and ready to go! Oh, you just dressed me up for pictures? Lame. |
Got my pocket T and work pants on! |
Hm, this tub is a little different than my tub at home. On the other hand, this toy is amazing. |
Yeah. I'm the star of the show here and I'm not ready to have my picture taken. |
But see, I like to spit up on everything. I don't understand the problem. |
What do you mean it's not football season?! I'm wearing a shirt with a football enthusiastic squirrel on it! |
Just workin' on my neck muscles. One push up at a time. |
Wonderful pictures and captions! I love you all. xox
